Publishing of the quarterly review CDT : ("Les Chemins De Trans") (Trans Paths) and the distribution of La lettre du CARITIG (CARITIG's News Letter) as well as publication of books and brochures.
The establishment of links with organizations pursuing the same goals and activities on international levels. Creation of flyers and booklets. Links and Contacts

OUR GOALS

24 March 1992, France has been condemned by the European Court of Human Rights for not respecting the right to privacy - Convention Article 8 - for refusing for 17 years to change one transsexual's civil status.

Since then, has the situation changed ...?

Gender Identity is an absolutely unknown, hushed, rejected, unconsidered subject... Only one's original anatomy is taken into consideration.

Can we keep continuing this way ...?

No longer to be ridiculed. To be full-fledged citizens.

To have access to good quality treatments, with respect and dignity.

To keep jobs, accommodation, parental rights....

To obtain identity papers in accord with our chosen gender during and after the transition.

To support and give information to our professional allies.

To defend Human Rights, for all, and everywhere.

To fight against the expansion of transmittable sexual diseases, and in particular AIDS.

To participate in panel discussions in various cities, with the greater public or with specialized groups.
